Easy parts over. Good to know others also feel this way! Maybe we just look at it too much, and after having a break from writing, we can come with somewhat fresh eyes.
Inspiration for Writers
I found this great blog to inspire me to write and create. It is hard work that’s true, but (there’s always a but). It can also be fun. It’s so easy to become frustrated with lack of progress. But if you identify that ‘thing’ in your life that always seems to rear its ugly head and tries to stop you. In my opinion, it can’t have been a waste of time. The thing is to keep on, rid your life of what’s hindering you and move on. If you just improve a little each day, it doesn’t have to be a huge amount, any little improvement will do. You will eventually find that the book is finished !!
What comes against you when you try to write?
What’s your plan the next time it happens?
Writing is hard work! When we think we’ve got it figured out an editor or trusted friend lets us know there are still plot holes. Maybe we realize we left out key elements, missed tying up a loose end, or we just put our head on our desk and stay there the rest of the day. Here’s some encouragement, keep writing and don’t give up!

Who do you run with? The doomsayers or the encouragers? Personally I hope I will always have encouragers in my life, and be one myself, not merely a shallow yes person.

It matters who you associate with if you want to make it and makes sense to follow a worthy blogger who will encourage and motivate you and helps you achieve your goals.

I am always amazed at how generous true writers are with their time and expertise. They are smart enough to know that there is more than enough to go around for everybody just look at the variety of writers in the world!
We are all unique, and we all have a place. So write that which you know you were meant to write. The most important thing is have fun doing it, know it’s okay to enjoy your life. It’s more than okay, it’s a necessity to have absolute fun along the way!

Why Write ?
Rewrite, don’t use too many adverbs, use first person, don’t use third . . . do this, don’t do that. I hear my mother in the background saying the same thing don’t! Why can’t we just write what we feel? Isn’t that what writings all about? If it doesn’t free us why do it? Get it out on paper then figure it out later, learning as you grow.
Enjoy your life and your uniqueness because there is only one you, there has never been anyone like you nor will there ever be another like you.
Agatha Christie the best-selling author of all time, after the Bible and William Shakespeare said she had fun writing her novels. Make sure you have fun too! Don’t let joy stealers hijack it and have you come down so hard on yourself making you believe it’s not up to par. After all it’s your artwork!
What makes you feel pressured and hinders your creativity? What’s your remedy?
